Jurgen Klopp Liverpool FC manager
Liverpool are interested in signing the services of Genk’s Bilal El Khannoussi and reports have even called his family.

According to a recent story from Het Belang van Limburg (via Sport Witness), Rijoblancos, Reds and Bayer Leverkusen are keen to land the talented 19-year-old.

A Belgian source mentioned that no suitors have made an official offer so far, but they have invited the player’s agent, who is his mother, to discuss the transfer.

El Khannous has more than three years on his contract with Genk, who want a £25.6m (€30m) fee for his sale (De Morgen).

In the current campaign, the teenager has made 34 appearances for the Belgian club so far and scored 8 goals.

He played in every match at the Africa Cup of Nations but has yet to start a match in Morocco.

Last night he played just 6 minutes as a substitute as the Atlas Lions beat Zambia 1-0 to secure top spot in the group.

Next week, the African giants, who finished fourth in the FIFA World Cup in Qatar, will face South Africa in the round of 18.

Liverpool already have enough quality and depth in their attacking third around stars like Salah, Nunez, Diaz, Jota and Gakpo.

Do you think Anfield should pay £25.6m to sign Bilal El Khanouss?.
