Nobody, least of all singer John Legend, will ever forget Tom Brady’s historic 28-3 comeback. He recalls watching the game and the spectrum of emotions that were present because he was the performing artist at the team’s afterparty.
Legend remarked that it was a pivotal point in Brady’s career and revealed that, win or lose, team owner Robert Kraft had hired him to sing at the afterparty:
“And during the game, I was in his box, so I witnessed the spectrum of feelings that the whole Patriots nation experienced… And everyone was, well, dejected. having the impression that you won’t be returning. And when you eventually returned and won the game in such a historic way, I watched the excitement take over.
Legend said that Brady’s assistance in lightening his workload made him happy. Brady continued, “There are other people who are affected by the outcome of the game, in addition to fans and players.”
They don’t realize that the after-party performances are greatly impacted by what occurs on the field, and you don’t want to show up at the party when everyone is kind of depressed. Thus, that was a good evening.”
The artist also said:
The atmosphere definitely brightened up, and Mr. Kraft referred to Chrissy as his lucky charm since she was always there to support him. He simply stated, “They’ll always have that bond of experiencing all the emotions together.”
Although it was a spectacular return, the Grammy-winning performer also clearly valued it greatly.
