McCloud was activated from injured reserve and his presence will be welcome after the team left Danny Gray and Jauan Jennings out of Sunday’s game against the Rams. They also placed Ross Dwelly on injured reserve, demoted linebacker Kyle Jusczyk with an illness and promoted safety Tayler Hawkins and running back Jeremy McNichols.
McCloud was out with injured ribs and last played in Week 12. In the first 11 games of the season, he had nine catches for 113 yards and two 23-yard scores. He also averaged 22.5 yards per punt return and 8.5 yards per punt.
