Adam Peters turned down interviews with Titans, Cardinals last season

NFL teams are wasting little time rebuilding their coaches and front offices on Black Monday, and one member of the San Francisco 49ers is already becoming a household name.
The Washington Commanders and Las Vegas Raiders have reportedly requested interviews with assistant general manager Adam Peters for their GM vacancies.
MMQBand#039;s Albert Breer reported that commanders will interview Peters on Tuesday or Wednesday. ESPN’s Adam Schefter reports on the Raiders’ interest in Peters.
Peters was in the NFL for 21 years. He joined the 49ers in 2016 as vice president of player personnel before becoming assistant GM in 2021. He previously spent time with the New England Patriots (2003-2008) and the Denver Broncos (2009-2016).
This is not Parsley#039; for the first time in offseason GM negotiations. NBC Sports Bay Area 49ers insider Matt Maiocco reported last January that Peters turned down interview requests from the Tennessee Titans and Arizona Cardinals.
Commanders may have one advantage in possible Peters occupations. The team brought in former Golden State Warriors GM Bob Myers and former Minnesota Vikings GM Rick Spielman to help its ownership search for a new head coach and director of football operations. Myers and Peters, from Cupertino, California, both attended Monte Vista High School and are UCLA alumni.
Washington has been on the list since the season ended on Sunday.
