Chelsea have been handed a golden chance to make the most of the January transfer window just days before business is set to begin again. The Blues are once more expected to be one of the most active teams as Mauricio Pochettino looks to improve his squad that has faltered in the opening half to the season.
Despite beating Crystal Palace on Wednesday Chelsea remain locked into mid-table and saw their regular issues crop up in what was a needlessly nervy second half.
