Super Eagles striker Victor Osimhene has revealed his desire to play in the Premier League after being linked with Chelsea.
The Napoli ace has been linked with a move to the English flagship, particularly Chelsea, who see him as a top target and a player who would solve their long-standing goalscoring problems.
While his move in this window is unlikely, the two-time European champions are lining up suitors interested in capturing the Nigerian international’s signature in the summer.
Hopes the 25-year-old Stamford Bridge outfit could add to his declaration that he wants to play in the Premier League.
Speaking to Sky Sports, the Napoli star revealed that he would like to play in the English Premier League.
“Of course I would definitely like to play in the Premier League one day. But now I have other plans for my career”Osimhen said.
“When the time comes, some will know”
Like Chelsea, the world-class forward is on Arsenal’s radar, but it remains to be seen if the north London side can afford to live up to their valuation by activating their release clause.
As stated in his new contract with Napoli, Osimhen has a 120 million release clause that does not apply to any club
