The San Francisco 49ers will be missing a few players as they travel to Glendale, Arizona to defend their NFC West title. A win over the Arizona Cardinals or a loss or tie by the Los Angeles Rams will give them the division title for the second year in a row. In the team’s final injury report, defensive linemen Arik Armstead (foot/knee) and Javon Hargrave (hamstring), running back Elijah Mitchell (knee), tight end Ross Dwelley (ankle), and linebacker Oren Burks (knee) have all been ruled out of Sunday’s game.
Four more players are questionable for the weekend, including cornerback Charvarius Ward (groin), offensive linemen Aaron Banks (hip) and Spencer Burford (knee), and linebacker Dre Greenlaw (hip/ankle). Burford has been the most active of the four this week, practicing
Ward, Banks, and Greenlaw worked out for the first time on Friday, while Ward, Banks, and Greenlaw worked out in a limited capacity on Thursday and Friday.
Banks is the most recent addition to the injury report, having tweaked his hip during practice on Thursday. Jon Feliciano has been the team’s swing offensive lineman and will likely fill in for Burford and Banks in Week 15 depending on their availability on Sunday.
