Man City have received some good news as the January transfer window approaches, with Chelsea willing to part ways with one of their targets.
The West London club are willing to sell Ian Maatsen in January to raise funds, according to 90min, with Manchester City, West Ham, Borussia Dortmund, Napoli, and Roma all interested in the 21-year-old.
The full-back has failed to impress Mauricio Pochettino in the first half of the season, appearing in just ten Premier League games for a total of 130 minutes. This is made worse by the fact that Chelsea’s natural left-backs, Ben Chilwell and Marc Cucurella, have both been injured.
The 21-year-old impressed during a loan spell with Burnley last season, and it is those performances that have piqued the interest of the club.
The defender has caught the attention of the aforementioned clubs.
