GREEN BAY – Green Bay Packers running backs Aaron Jones (knee) and AJ Dillon (thumb) are among seven players listed as questionable for Sunday’s game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
Linebacker Quay Walker (shoulder), safety Darnell Savage (shoulder), cornerbacks Jaire Alexander (shoulder) and Eric Stokes (hamstring), and receiver Dontayvion Wicks (ankle) are Green Bay’s other five questionable players.
Christian Watson (hamstring) is questionable after not practicing this week. Savage is the only one of Green Bay’s seven questionable players who did not practice this week.
Jones expressed confidence in his chances of facing the Buccaneers in a press conference on Thursday. Due to hamstring and knee injuries, the former Pro Bowler has missed six games this season.
Dillon returned to practice on Friday, wearing a modified cast on his right arm.
“We’re kind of working through it right now,” said Head Coach Matt LaFleur when asked about Dillon’s availability. “They had it pretty well padded up. We’ll just see where that takes us.”
Green Bay could turn to Patrick Taylor and Kenyan Drake if Jones and Dillon are unavailable. Taylor gained 52 yards on six touches against New York.
Alexander has been practicing in a limited capacity for the past month but has yet to play in a game since injuring his shoulder in Green Bay’s 20-3 victory over the Los Angeles Chargers.
Walker did not play against the Giants, but he returned to practice on Thursday.
Stokes has participated in full practice for the past two weeks but remains on injured reserve with a return date. The third-year cornerback would be required to
