Alan Pardew says Mauricio Pochettino sent statement to Chelsea owners about 23-year-old
Alan Pardew claims Mauricio Pochettino’s handling of Conor Gallagher this season has sent a big message to Chelsea owners.
We’re halfway through the season and everyone can see the players Chelsea manager Mauricio Pochettino has favored so far.
Conor Gallagher, 23, is clearly the real favorite under this administration.
The England midfielder is a starter for the Blues and has played in 26 of the club’s 27 matches this season. He served as vice-captain while Reece James and Ben Chilwell are also injured.

Alan Pardew says Pochettino has made it clear to Chelsea’s owners that he wants to keep Gallagher amid repeated transfer speculation.
“I think Poch made a statement that I would have made if I were his manager. He made a statement up top that he didn’t want him (Gallagher) to go because he made him captain. He has Silva there, he has the natural drivers, why would he? It was a message to the owner: he is staying here. He’s been very, very good for Chelsea,” Pardew told talkSPORT.
Mauricio Pochettino wants to keep Conor Gallagher
So, will Chelsea’s influential midfielder still be their player when the January window closes?
We think the season from chelsea could come in time. will stop if they offload gallagher in the next few weeks
He is consistently one of the best performers and we also fear the general reaction from the fans if he is sold, especially to a top contender..
