Breaking news!!! Fresh accusations on Ronnie O’Sullivan

Stephen Hendry brands Ronnie O’Sullivan ‘stubborn’ because he wanted to use old chalk on the World Snooker Tour. Taom Chalk is the official chalk partner of the WWS Tour, but the snooker designer prefers his old sponsor Triangle Chalk to bounce more off the pad.

O’Sullivan has been attacked in the past for refusing to re-mark like everyone else when John Higgins claimed his rival and succeeded.

Judd Trump also used Triangle Chalk for a while after the WSS Tour announced its partnership with Tao, but then switched to a new brand. Hendry claims this leaves O’Sullivan as the only player on the WSS tour still using Triangle Chalk.

“Now as I say, the tables are just beautiful now and they varied a bit from tournament to tournament” Hendry said on his YouTube channel.

Hendry advised O’Sullivan to switch to Tao

“But quite consistently now the tables are always… But as soon as something goes wrong, players are like ” oh my God”. The biggest telling is that Ronnie keeps using the old chalk that gets kicked and hits the pillow. I don’t know why he wouldn’t use the new one. I don’t know if it’s stubbornness”

Hendry’s biggest complaint about O’Sullivan Trianglea’s demanding product is the chalk mark it leaves on the table. “All the other players use the new chalk… You never get markers on the board” he continued. “If you watch old snooker matches from the 80s, there are chalk marks everywhere and there are kicks all the time”

O’Sullivan made an impressive start to his 2024 season with a record 41st World Grand Prix finish last month. However, the 48-year-old, who recently had to cope with a hectic schedule, recently withdrew from the German Masters to prioritize his health and well-being

“I’m sorry I’m not here and I hope to see you all sn” he wrote to X andquot;I love the event and the fans in Germany, but I have to put my health and well-being first.

“It’s been a tiring and challenging season for me, regardless of how it looks with tournament wins, so I hope you understand.” Oand#039;Sullivan has lost just three times in 33 matches this season and is currently on a 15-match winning streak..
