“Breaking news:Brock purdy in danger as skip bayless drops deep revelation”

After leading the San Francisco 49ers to a Super Bowl trip in his first full season as a starting NFL quarterback, Brock Purdy has emerged as the latest Cinderella story in sports.

Despite being the final player selected in the 2022 selection, he shocked everyone by developing into a top-tier signal-caller very rapidly.

However, many are starting to doubt him once more in the wake of his 49ers’ Super Bowl loss to the Kansas City Chiefs, which ended with a three-point loss. One such person is Skip Bayless, who stated on his podcast that he doesn’t think Purdy is a “top-tier Super Bowl-winning quarterback.”

Leading the NFL in passer rating and QBR throughout the regular season, Purdy threw for 4,280 yards and 31 touchdowns. In the first two rounds of the playoffs, he demonstrated his mettle by leading San Francisco to two thrilling comeback victories against elite teams.

He reads the field quickly and accurately, is mobile, accurate on passes longer than 15 to 20 yards, and maintains composure under duress.

However, he has also been charged of being little more than a passable quarterback who has greatly benefited from the skill set surrounding him and head coach Kyle Shanahan’s outstanding offensive scheme.

After that Super Bowl defeat, Shanahan himself is now doubted by several, including Bayless.

The 49ers have a short window of time to win it all, particularly with star wide receiver Brandon Aiyuk entering his final season of a deal that is likely up for renewal.

They may have to part with at least one of their numerous stars in order to retain the remaining ones, given they have already exceeded the salary cap.
