Chris Sutton believes Manchester City did something very stupid in 2023

  • Chris Sutton has doubled down on his belief that Manchester City were wrong to sell Cole Palmer  despite the emergence of Oscar Bobbi.

    The 50-year-old made the comments while speaking on the It’s All Kicking Off podcast.

    Well, the Nottingham man claimed earlier this season that he thought Manchester City were wrong to sell the 21-year-old to Chelsea in 2023 .

    Palmer scored nine goals and provided four assists in Premier League games under Mauricio Pochettino.

    A Daily Star story claimed that Bobbi’s presence allowed Manchester City to sell the England international defender to Chelsea.

    When Sutton was told about this, he said, “I’m sticking to my guns. I think it was a mistake to let Cole Palmer continue at the rate we’ve seen this season, but I” I won’t argue with people who think Oscar Bobb is phenomenal can silence Manchester City’s doubters
    Sutton isn’t the only one who thinks Manchester City were wrong to sell Palmer  Anton Ferdinand is just one of many others who have questioned the move.

    Bobb has already shown videos in his brief cameo this season that he can make everyone stop talking about the England team.

    The Norway international scored a stunningly quick goal against Newcastle, benched Martin Dubravka and robbed Manchester City of all three points.

    Bob also has a UEFA Champions League goal this season as he also finished as a seasoned veteran in a 3-2 win over Red Star Belgrade.

    At just 20 years old, the sky is the limit for this Norwegian prodigy..
