Cristhian Mosquera, a Valencia centre-back, has been approached by Crystal Palace.
Standard Sport understands that the Eagles are one of several Premier League clubs interested in the 19-year-old’s availability.
Mosquera has been a mainstay in Valencia’s defense this season, and Palace scouts observed him early last month. His contract expires in June 2025.
While the position of centre-back is not one of Palace’s top priorities for this month’s transfer window, the Spain Under-19 international is on the club’s list of potential long-term replacements for Marc Guehi.
Guehi was signed by Palace for £18 million from Chelsea in July 2021. Despite interest from a number of top Premier League clubs, the England defender has yet to sign a new contract, despite the fact that his current deal is set to expire.
