Talented academy stars have helped Manchester United’s first squad. There are more entering the system.
Alejandro Garnacho and Kobbie Mainoo, two first team talents, were already produced by the Manchester United under-18 squad that won the FA Youth Cup in 2022.
This group of under-18 players is focused on winning everything that stands in their way, even if the 2024 team has already been eliminated from the competition this year.
The under-18 team from Manchester United is presently leading the league by 13 points with 15 wins, 2 ties, and no losses from 17 games.
They defeated Crystal Palace 5-0 to advance to the Premier League Cup final over the weekend.
Ethan Wheatley is finding the net.
Winger Ethan Williams has been a standout performer for the academy this season across all levels, alternating between the under-18 and under-21 teams. He’s trained with the first team as well.
He is not to be confused with Ethan Wheatley, a youthful attacker who is more role-specific than versatile in his playing.
