Leicester City have learned the stance of Steve Cooper one candidate to replace Enzo Maresca

After discovering one candidate’s position to succeed Enzo Maresca, Leicester City has to move quickly.

After winning the Championship in 2023–2024, Leicester City was promoted to the Premier League; nevertheless, their summer has not gone as planned.

Since Enzo Maresca was introduced as Chelsea’s next manager, the Foxes are investigating potential managers rather than making plans for the upcoming campaign.

A number of potential candidates have been discussed for the position, and one of them has recently made it quite plain where he stands.
Amidst managerial connections, Leicester City learns Steve Cooper’s viewpoint.
Steve Cooper, the former manager of Nottingham Forest, has been linked to the Leicester position; The Sun has now revealed the Welshman’s plans for the future.

It’s reported that the 44-year-old ‘has indicated’ that he ‘would accept’ an offer from Leicester if he was offered the role.

The Sun claim that the board consider Cooper a strong candidate based on his ‘attractive brand’ of football and his Premier League experience as Leicester aim to stay up.

It’s added that the Foxes would hand the former Forest manager a budget to bolster the current squad, with all signs pointing at a possible return to the Midlands for Cooper.

Leicester must now act fast to hire Cooper

On the No Tippy Tippy Football Podcast, Sam Allardyce called Cooper’s work at Forest ‘incredible’, despite being sacked by the Reds in December 2023.
