Miss America 2025 Abbie Stockard Returns to Auburn, Joins Tiger Paws Dance Team at Auburn-Arkansas Game, and Expresses Gratitude to Bruce Pearl for the Unforgettable Honor

On February 20, 2025, Auburn University welcomed back its distinguished alumna, Abbie Stockard, recently crowned Miss America 2025. Stockard, a 22-year-old nursing student and former member of the Tiger Paws dance team, returned to her alma mater to partake in the Auburn Tigers men’s basketball game against the Arkansas Razorbacks.

During the game, Stockard surprised the crowd by joining her former teammates on the Tiger Paws dance line, performing during halftime to the delight of fans. Her participation not only showcased her enduring Auburn spirit but also highlighted her commitment to the university community.

Reflecting on the experience, Stockard expressed her gratitude: “Dancing with the Tiger Paws again was an incredible honor. I’m thankful to Coach Bruce Pearl and the entire team for welcoming me back so warmly.”

The evening was filled with celebrations, as fans and friends presented Stockard with greeting cards, specialty cookies, gift baskets, and a stuffed Aubie adorned with a crown. The following morning, a breakfast was held in her honor, attended by faculty, staff, and students at the College of Nursing, along with Auburn’s mascot, Aubie.
