Newsnow-Kyren Wilson warns Ronnie O’Sullivan and co after watching Rocket toy with rivals

Kyren Wilson claims he has a ‘major part’ to play among snooker’s big shots in the wake of pondering the mistake of neglecting to fit the bill for last month’s Reality Fabulous Prix. Ronnie O’Sullivan secured the competition in Wilson’s nonappearance, playing with a progression of posh rivals in transit to triumph.

In an interview with The Metro, Wilson acknowledged, “It was hard sat at home watching the lads in the Grand Prix.” It’s simply not sufficient for my sake to not be in an occasion like that. Warning O’Sullivan and the rest of the current big names in snooker that he will not be content to sit back and watch them dominate for years to come, the former world No. 4 is determined to put together a run of results.

Wilson went on to say, “I’ve been working hard, stopped tinkering around with my game, and gone back to what I know and what’s given me results in the past.”


He stated, “I would like to find some consistency between now and [the world championship], and then I would like to go to Sheffield and try to enjoy it.” It’d be ideal to appreciate it for a change.

“I don’t think age is actually an issue for me. I believe my experience is beneficial. I have a ton of involvement presently, I’ve won a great deal of competitions, I’ve been around some time, I’ve gained some significant experience about the game, I’m likely a preferred all over player over I’ve at any point been.”
