Celtic will look to get back on track in the Champions League this evening when they host Feyenoord at Parkhead.
As the Hoops have already finished bottom of their group, this will be their final European outing of the season. They trail tonight’s opponents by five points and have yet to win a game in the competition.
Brendan Rodgers’ side has zero wins, one draw, and four defeats from their first five group games and could look to end Europe on a high note with a win over the Dutch side, rather than with a whimper and another loss.
Following their 2-1 loss to Kilmarnock on Sunday, the Scottish giants will be especially motivated to produce a positive performance and result this evening.
Celtic took the lead through Matt O’Riley, but the hosts sealed the victory with two goals in the final 15 minutes.
Rodgers may now want to make some changes to his starting XI following that defeat, which could be aided by the return of a couple of key players.
Celtic injury updates
Northern Ireland head coach Martin O’Neill confirmed that central defender Cameron Carter-Vickers missed the game against Kilmarnock due to a hamstring strain.
He was stiffened as a result of the knock, and the Hoops decided not to risk him in the Scottish Premiership match.
