With a move to the Premier League’s biggest team, CSKA Moscow forward Tamerlan Musaev revealed his appreciation for Cristiano Ronaldo and Manchester United.
Now, when asked to name the best center-forward in world football, Viktor Gyokeres may not immediately spring to mind. Especially not on a day when Man City thrashed Luton Town in the FA Cup, with Erling Haaland scoring five goals in less than four minutes.
However, Tamerlan Musaev’s appreciation for the Sporting Lisbon star sheds light on both the qualities and flaws of the CSKA Moscow rookie, who shares Gyokeres’ lightning-fast feet, intimidating running force, and ability to finish with both feet.
The qualities he needs to
hone, as well as the shortcomings he needs to overcome, if Musaev wants to realize his dream of being the next Cristiano Ronaldo and play for Manchester United.

When asked which club is his favorite, Musaev replies to Sport24, “Manchester United was the first that came to mind.” aside from CSKA, naturally.
“I was raised to support Manchester United by my brother. Reaching that point is a goal, not a dream. I’ll get to it. But my main goal is to have a successful job.
Musaev, who is 22 years old and has earned a spot at one of the top Russian clubs, is undoubtedly on the correct track.
