Tottenham could make last minute deal for £45m PL player
Tottenham Hotspur could make a last minute move for Chelsea midfielder Conor Gallagher this month.

That’s according to reporter Paul Brown, who believes Spurs could test Chelsea’s resolve with a “low bid” in the final days of the transfer window.

Tottenham have already completed deals for Timo Werner and Radu Dragusin this month, with the club ready to tackle two key areas of Ange Postecoglou’s side.

Australia boss still wants new midfielder, Conor Gallagher heavily linked.

It has already been claimed that Spurs are “increasingly likely” to make a formal offer for Gallagher.

And Brown claims it could happen in the final days of the transfer window.

Tottenham may have made a late move for Gallagher. Speaking to
GiveMeSport, Brown explained why he believes Spurs could still be late with a bid for Gallagher this month.

“So Tottenham sources quickly came out and denied there were any discussions between the clubs about Conor Gallagher, but we know the club likes Gallagher a lot,” the reporter said.

“I wouldn’t be surprised if Daniel Levy tries a low bid at the end of the window just to test Chelsea’s resolve because Chelsea are asking quite a lot for Conor Gallagher and I don’t think Spurs will spend that kind of money on anyone this per month.

“But as we approach the end of the window, we start to see how desperate Chelsea are to bring in cash before the end of January.

“I think Spurs’ strategy could be here. I wouldn’t be at all surprised to see action for Gallagher in the last two days.

It’s no secret that Gallagher has many admirers. Tottenham and Postecoglou are said to be that there are big fans of the midfielder.

Chelsea are expected to demand at least £45m this month before considering a sale.

But it would be a surprise if the Blues let their academy product leave mid-season. The Englishman has been key part of Mauricio Pochettino’s side this season, even if he is on the armband in the absence of Reece James.

Reports have also suggested that Gallagher will refuse to leave Stamford Bridge this month, even if Chelsea entertain offers from the likes of Spurs..
