As an outspoken critic of the snooker schedule, Sullivan says the season has been demanding.
“I’m sorry I’m not here and I hope to see you all soon”The 48-year-old wrote to X.

“It’s been a tiring and challenging season for me so far, although that can also show in the tournament wins, so I hope you understand.”
The seven-time world champion has lost just three times in 33 matches this season and won the last 15 in a row.
Last week’s World Grand Prix win was followed up by victory against Alfie Burden in the World Open Qualifier at Barnsley on Wednesday.
