Snooker star Imprint Allen drew the rage of fans after shamelessly requesting a band to perform for nothing at an occasion – rather procuring ‘loads of inclusion’ in lieu of money

After asking for a freebie at an event, world number three Mark Allen sparked outrage on social media.

The snooker star, 37, took to Facebook to request a band or DJ to perform for nothing at an occasion and in lieu of money, promising them to procure “bunches of inclusion”.

The Northern Irish player was likely to mass analysis from fans for his brave solicitation only days after he caused contention during a German Experts win when he tossed a ball across the table out of resentment.

The winner of the UK Championship in 2022 wrote on January 31: I need a DJ, singer, or band for an event I’m running on March 10. I’ll be honest: I’m looking for a freebie. But you’ll be a part of a great event and get a lot of coverage.

“Occasion being covered by BBC, UTV and World Snooker. Don’t all attack me simultaneously.” Allen wrote, quoting a screenshot of the message, ” Might anybody at any point help? Much obliged ahead of time” as X (previously known as Twitter) showed up in large numbers to lambast the 37-year-old’s solicitation.


One client answered by posting a screen capture of Allen’s 2023-24 season prize cash of £333,500 while one more told him: ” However much I believe you’re extraordinary mate, you’re a tycoon, searching for a gift. Get a grasp.”

A third client made sense of exactly the way in which daring his request was by composing: ” Awful craic Imprint. Could you ask an electrical technician, handyman, tiler ect to come and fix something in your home free of charge? Exactly, so why would you expect a musician to perform for free? Openness doesn’t take care of the bills, cash does.”

Mindful of the fire he got for his solicitation, Allen hit back at his faultfinders in the wake of uncovering the occasion is for The Imprint Allen Establishment Ltd good cause that he sent off recently.
