Who are the 49ers worst playoff opponents?; see

The Athletic’s Matt Barrows went on “The Carmichael Dave Show with Jason Ross” Monday morning to recap the 49ers and Rams and preview the upcoming playoffs.

San Francisco lost a basically meaningless game on Sunday, but Barrows explains why the Rams and Cowboys are two teams the 49ers don’t want to see in the postseason.

“Not only do they know the division, they [the scales] use the same system,” Barrows said. “I would put the Cowboys and Rams as teams one and two, the 49ers would rather not be in the playoffs.

On the back. Barrows believes the 49ers’ best postseason opponents are the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Green Bay Packers and Philadelphia Eagles.
